Hi, Louise here with a layout to share. Pretty excited as this is my first post for The Stamp Spot, I will get on with it....
I have recently decided that I need to scrap more about the everyday stuff in our lives, the things my kids enjoy, routines around our home etc so that it is not just the events that are documented. This layout is about my daughter and her love of drawing, just a little thing that she does most days but she may not later on when she gets older.

I have used Kraft cardstock for my base and inked the edges with a pink inkpad, the papers are echopark which I cut to size to provide a mat for the photos the journaling tag has been filled out with a font from my computer and printed on using using photoshop. I put twine under the title to add a little interest, I glued it with fabric glue as it dries clear and you can hardly see the glue line.

Valentines Birthday Card

Hi everyone! It's Sandra here and today I wanted to share with you a card that I made with a Valentine's/birthday theme using the amazing (some odd girls stamp sets birthday mae and cupcake mae). I wanted a really bold look because it was inspired by a friend, so I decided to color her in hot pink tones paired with shades of blue to off set each other. I really love the flow of the card and the girly feel to it and how it all ties in with Valentines.

The papers I used are from the Basic Grey "Out of Print" collection - so perfect for any occasion! I have paired this with some Kraft cardstock, white Neenah Cardstock, glitter Gold (self adhesive paper) and some detailed stamping on some light pink cardstock. I also used my Copic sketch markers to color in my main images : (Skin) E000,E00,E02,R20,W1 , (Dress & Headband) BG000,BG0000,BG09,B02, Hair & Shoes RV21, RV06,RV34,(Candle Flames) Y21,YR23 (Candle sticks were colored with the same pinks and blues as hair and dress).

Skirt Apron was paper pieced from the same Heidi Grace "Valentines" paper collection as the cupcake holder. I really had fun combining different patterns of polka dots to create a whimsical feel to my card. The frosting on my cupcake was created with a Marvy "Snow Marker" which is a really cool process similar to embossing.

I used My Favorite Things "Fairy Girl"

She has been colored using Copic markers

my card base was Core'dinations Amaryllis Cardstock , I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities for the circles and Martha stewart border punches for the border and middle cutout, The leaf die was a Cheery Lynn design die, and I sprinkled in a few pretty paper flowers from my stock.

Valentine's Day

Hi Everyone!

It's Sandy here with a Valentine's Day card to share with you.

The stamped image was printed on white Neenah Cardstock and coloured in with markers. I then fussy cut it and layered it over a circle Nestabilities. I've also layered some red fibre ribbon and white grosgrain ribbon before stamping the sentiment on a MFT - Dog Tag and attaching it with some Maraschino Bakers Twine.

Spring is Back

Hi everyone! It's Alyce here and today I wanted to share with you a card that I made for Valentine's Day using the gorgeous Sarah Kay 'Spring is Back' stamp. I wanted a really nice rich and vintage look for my card, so decided to colour her in sepia tones paired with shades of red. I think this works quite nice for Valentine's Day :)

The papers I used are from the My Mind's Eye 'Love Me' collection - so perfect for Valentine's Day! I have paired this with some gorgeous red and sepia toned flowers, a gold edge plate, and a doily all from my stash. I also used some beautiful lace to soften the image, and three bronze coloured Kaisercraft rhinestones.

I coloured the image using copics, and distressed all of the papers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Antique Linen.

Here are the Copic colours that I used:

Skin: E50, E53, YR00, E00
Hair: E71, E47, E29
Trousers/Hat: E50, E53, E00, E31,E43
Top/Flowers/Ribbon: R11, R22, R05, 100

*QUICK TIP - You will notice that I used Black 100 in the mix for the flowers, and the ribbon. As I don't have a huge amount of copics, I tend to make my own colours by 'mixing' the copics. In this case, I wanted a darker red, so I took the my R05 copic and rubbed the tip on the Black 100 pen to pick up some of the colour. This won't ruin your copics...you can simply rub the pen on a scrap piece of paper to lose the colour that you picked up!*

Hi! My name is Jessica Theodore.

I am 27 years old and live in country Victoria, Australia with my wonderful husband John and our 3 bright and busy daughters Aimee (7), Charlotte (3) and Ella (1) who all love to get up at the dining table and craft with me. We live out of town and have a collection of pets including chooks, ducks, goats, a dog and a cat, plus a few different fruits and vegies growing in the garden.
I fell in love with creating cards for challenges about 3 years ago and haven't looked back! I feel lucky to have made some wonderful friends who share the same passion for craft as I do.

Hi! My name is Sandy and I live in Sydney with my hubby and our three beautiful children. I've dabbled in lots of different crafts over the years including cross stitich, embroidery, flower arranging, folk art and quilting. Then I came across paper crafting and that led to a whole new world scrapbooking and card making! Now days, I find myself making a lot more cards than scrapbook pages. Hi I'm Patrice!

I live in Australia's Capital Territory, Canberra with my young son and our fluff ball fur baby. I grew up in New Zealand and I'm so grateful my mum shared her love of needle craft and sewing with me. I've been crafty in one way or another since I was a young girl.

I developed a love of all things paper craft after attending my first SU workshop in late 2007. I'd best describe my style as Clean and Simple (CAS) - a 'less is more' kind of look. I would really love to scapbook but find the larger space a little daunting ... cards have a much smaller surface area to cover and the results are relatively quick and gratifying. I especially love that my handmade cards give friends a smile and happiness that shows I was thinking of them whilst creating them.

I have a number of other interests including gardening, movies, music and an absolute LOVE of books - I make time to read every day! Since joining the paper craft world I have met the most incredibly beautiful, kind and generous people, some I know are going to be lifelong friends.

I'm so excited about our new Design Team members and wish them a very warm welcome!

Hi I'm Louise and I am happy to admit I am totally addicted to paper crafts.

I live in rural New Zealand on a small lifestyle block with my scrapbook supportive Husband Andrew and our 4 children, who I am sure you will get to know alot better through my layouts.

I am a huge fan of die-cuts, patterned paper and anything PINK (this can become a little difficult when scrapping my 3 boys). I love lumpy, bumpy layouts but lately I seem to be tending toward more graphic "flat" looking pages, I think this has more to do with getting my photos scrapped in a more timely manner than the actual "look" of the layout. My name is Theresa {aka The Scrapbooking Queen} and I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. I had the opportunity to manage a popular craft store for over 6 years and enjoyed inspiring other’s to create, and learnt to come up with creative ideas on a moments notice sort of became my trade mark that has carried me throughout my crafting life.
I started my blog The Scrapbooking Queen as an additional outlet for my crafting and it interaction with other like mind crafters. My blog has now grown to over 2500 followers and it has been a joy to share my love of crafting with others via the internet. I love creating anything out of paper and glue just add your imagination and run with it. I have extensive experience in marketing manufactures product lines and feel it is one my greatest strengths. Currently my husband and I co-own a notary service that allows me to work from home. Hi everyone! My name is Alyce and I am so thrilled to be joining The Stamp Spot as a design team member! I have a real passion for crafting and am always spending my spare time making something. For my day job I am a full time interior designer, but I have found that crafting is a great avenue to explore my creativity. My background in design has always had me experimenting with different techniques and concepts, and one thing led to another and I found copic markers and card making - my two new loves!

Here is my card for this month's sketch challenge. I used the beautiful Daisy stamp from The Greeting Farm, which you can purchase from the store HERE. I matched Daisy with some Authentique and My Mind's Eye papers, MFT Open Scallop Die, and some Prima flowers.

I distressed the papers using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Tea Dye, and coloured Daisy using Copic Markers.

Here are the colours that I used:

Hair: Y21, YR31, YR23

Dress: (purple) BV13, BV31, B63 (aqua) G000, BG34

The have the most sweetest range of products and I've chosen a few to show you here.

I've used some of their pretty patterned paper that comes in many different themes, antique buttons and a journaling tag (who says journaling tags are just for scrappers!!).

I've also used the Lemon sliced flags to make a sweet little garland!

Back to school ideas

Today I've created a Teachers card and a note book!

Both of them are very clean and simple - not normally my style but I thought I'd give it a go. You've got to get your self out if your comfort zone every now and then.

This Teachers card was super quick and easy to make, literally took 10 minutes to make and the most fiddly bit was tying the bows.

I stamped 3 apples on the right side of the card... I was going to do 3 in a row but I realised after stamping the first 2 the 3rd wouldn't fit so I just popped it above!

Around the card I wrapped three colours of twine, Peapod, Lemondrop and Blossom - all from the store here.

I was soooooo tempted to add some paper piercing or some bling under the apples or to that big white space up the top.... but I left it alone!

The second thing I made was a little note book and this was just super easy to do.

I found some 8x8 designer paper in my stash, then cut a few pieces of thinner 8x8 white paper just half a centimeter smaller on the side of the opening of the note book. Next I scored all the paper in half, put two staples in the score line to attach all the paper together and added the washi tape to cover the staples!

A note hanger ...

Another project to share for The Stamp Spot's Back to School inspiration challenge.

This is a hanging note book for my son. It was pretty simple to make, and a quick little gift idea. I covered a piece of thick cardboard with some paper, and then punched holes to hang it with some Twine. I glued on a note book and tied on a pencil covered in paper. The alphas are Die namics By the Letters.

Organise all your school paperwork

Good morning ~

With the busy back to school period looming I'm trying to get ahead of myself this year. I'm sure you'll all agree that there are sooooo many notes, news, canteen menus...and lots more random pieces of paper that come home. Rather than risk missing something important I've decided it's all going on the fridge!

I picked up the Clip Board from a cheapie store, painted the edges with an Antique Vanilla water based paint, added some designer paper (I chose the colours below to suit my own decor) using a water based glue. Then I added a few embellishments, ribbons and lace. I put some magnets on the back so it can go straight on my fridge.

Unfortunately I had trouble photographing this one so quality isn't the best I'm sorry. See a closer pic below of my lettering. You can achieve this look using Thickers or the MFT 'By the Letters' dies that can be found here. I covered mine with Glossy Accents before mounting them on foam dots. It was a little fiddly!

I made this flower using various punches, layering them and scrunching - Joanne Leddy has a fabulous tutorial here. I added some mist to give it sparkle.

If you have more than one school aged child in your family, why not make a note board for each and put their names on - this would be particularly useful if they attend multiple schools. A much simpler way of keeping track of all those notes!

~3 Fairy Princess Cards~

Goodmorning crafty friends!

This morning I have a set of 3 cards using only a handful of supplies:

TGF - Fairy Princess clear stamp set

MFT die-namics - Cloud trio

PLS - Summer Breeze 8x8 paper pack

kraft and snowflake 12x12 cardstocks

stickles

co-ordinating inks and a sponge (from my stash).

I must admit I am not confident with my colouring skills when using stamps like these, so instead I stamped out each one in a co-ordinating coloured ink from my stash, and fussy cut around the images, added some stickles to the wings and the top of the mushrooms and put aside to dry.

Then I cut out the clouds with the die-namics in my bigkick and stamped the sentiments.

Next I trimmed the pattern paper and sponged ink around the edges.

When everything was laid out where I liked it I used double sided tape to put it all together, and also some foam dots to make the images stand out a bit.

A Nifty Post it Note Holder

Good morning!

While we're focussing on back to school this month I have found a nifty use for Post it Notes. This is such an inexpensive and quick little project to put together.

Grab yourself a 4x6 clear stand alone frame next time you're at the supermarket. I picked mine up from Office Works for $2. Cut your favourite paper to size and insert in the frame, making sure the frame is upside down (see pic below) so that it acts as a stand. Decorate with whatever embellishments you have on hand and add your Post it pad with some strong adhesive.

So easy to update the look by replacing designer paper and embellies whenever you fancy.

I've used these scraps from my stash, but there are lots of gorgeous papers and ribbons in the store. Why not follow any of these links and have some shopping fun?

Sew sweet birthday

Ok so I'm back, using MORE die namics from My Favorite Things!!!!

For this card I've used two different dies, Sew Nifty and First Class.

I've also used some pretty pearls to make a sweet necklace.

The 12x12 cordenations card stock (you can find in store here) is just perfect for using with the dies. I like that it has a smooth side and a textured side so you can choose which side suits your project best.

The background paper I've used is from my stash but you could easily use Authentique Uncommon or choose any other 6x6 paper from our great range here.

Back to School Notebook

Hi Everyone!

Sandy here with a cute little covered notebook that is perfect for jotting down ideas or little notes etc. into. I made this to give to my daughter on her first day of high school at the end of this month.

I've used the stamp set - MFT - Pure Innocence - Being Cute Is What I Do but you can find our range of MFT Pure Innocence in store here.

When paper piecing, I like to heat emboss my stamped image to give it a nice outline and make it easier to cut out.

I'm loving the new die namics that My Favorite Things have out at the moment!

I've used a whole bunch of different dies to make this card.

I'm really loving the Loopy Bloom die. The big blue bloom is made from the MFT die but the other two are ones that I made myself - it's WAY easier to use the die!!!!!! The die also works really well and looks fantastic with felt if you wanted to give that a go.

Pencil Holder

I've got a great back to school project that is so simple you could even get the kiddies in on this one!!!

For this simple pencil holder I've used the left over cardboard roll from inside the Christmas wrapping paper but you could also use a toilet roll or empty can.

I've used 4 different colours of twine from the store - you could use what colours suit you or even just one. (There is about 8 meters of twine on my pencil holder.)

You could embellish this pencil holder in so many ways, the possibilities are endless!!!

I was going to do a tutorial for this easy project but I found a PERFECT one online here.

She is on the lookout for a creative soul who loves to stamp and colour/paper piece. Most projects that will be sent to you will be new release stamps that The Stamp Spot will be stocking. Its also possible you may be sent existing stock and showcase these images using a variety of mediums ie copics, prismacolors, water colouring and paper piecing. The purpose is to show TSS customers how using stamped images can put a very personal touch to their projects.

Michelle shared on facebook earlier yesterday and the immediate response has been amazing, we hope to see many more emails of interest pouring in :)

Hello dear friends!

Jessica here quickly stopping in to share a gift I wrapped for John in plain newspaper (end of the roll we get for the kids to draw on) as plain white wrapping paper is hard to find!

I used some Sawyers Place washi tape and Twine from The Twinery to decorate it

Here are two cards I whipped up using some lovely papers from the Holiday Style 8x8 paper pack. The first one I cut 2 sheets using my new Blossoms Spellbinders nestabilities and sponged around the edges before scruching and stacking. Quick and love the outcome.

The second on uses Hearts a Plenty from the MFT die-namics range, also some rhinestones and staples.

Christmas ornaments

Only 6 sleeps till Christmas!!! Can you believe how fast this year has flown by?!

Any way onto my Christmas card that was inspired by the My Favorite Things Christmas Ornaments Die-Namics. In this set you get so many pieces to choose from! See on the left side I've even used the die to create some blinged up holly.

I've even used some twine from the store but to fit in with my vintagy look I rubbed some chocolate ink over it. This toned down the white so it didn't stand out off the vanilla paper I was using.

I've been having a little play around with Washi Tape and Twine to make a couple of quick Christmas projects.

The first one is a card - no special tools required, you could cut these all by hand/trimmer.

To make the tree, I cut out a triangle from a scrap piece of cardstock, and covered it with the twine. I didn't go all the way around, but looped it around the back, like this ...

My Washi Tape was grey and white striped, and I created the background with that. It's pretty easy to line up (and if you get it wrong, it easily peels off and you can do it again). I taped it onto a white piece of cardstock, trimmed it up, and stuck it onto a black piece, then onto a card. I finished it off with a little tag, tied with some more twine.

My second little project is a tag to decorate some Christmas preserving I've been making - Chili Jam ... YUM!!

Simply wrap the twine around a candy cane shape. I have the Spellbinders die to cut it out - put a strip of tape or glue over the back, and wrap, wrap, wrap ...

I would ordinarily top the jars with some fabric and tie some string, but this was such a nice and simple black lid and I thought it looked great on it's own.

The two newest staples to my kit is without a doubt Twine and Washi Tape - I love them both, so many uses, and best of all - CHEAP!!

How to make twine flowers!

There are some great new products in store and twine from The Twinery is just one of them!!

On this card I've also used Washi tape, Pearls and this sweet frilled satin ribbon.

This card was made based on the December sketch but I've flipped it on it's side.

I wanted to use twine in a different way so I decided to make some loopy flowers out of it.

Here is a quick tutorial on how I made the flowers.
Firstly I've made a little loop (I've made this loop a little bigger than I did for the flowers I made on my card just because it is easier for you to see what it going on)

Next I made about 8 loops, but you can make as many or as little as you like depending on how full you want your flower to look.

Then I've tied a separate piece of twine tightly around the base (the section that was between my fingers)

Finally you spread out the loops at the top, then pop a pearl, rhinestone or brad in the middle to finish it off!!

Seriously quick and easy!!!!

More Christmas Tags by Sandy...

Today, I have two more of my Christmas tags to share with you.

On the first tag, I layered some Nestabilities Die Cuts and then doubled over some of the gorgeous new Washi Tape and stapled it to the tag instead of ribbon.

On the second tag, I covered the whole tag with Washi Tape before adding a cute Pure Innocence image. I then finished it off with some twine.

Christmas Tags

I was so excited when Michelle asked if we would like to make some Christmas tags to show you all this month! I received a black, red and gold pack. Tody I have the first two of six tags to share with you.

On this first tag, I scrunched up the music paper and sponged the edges to give it a vintage look. I then attached it to the tag using a zigzag stitch with my sewing machine. I swiped over the twine with my sponge and brown ink to give it 'dirty' it up a bit to fit in with the vintage look before tying it into a bow around the black organza ribbon.

For my second tag, I inked and distressed the edge of the tag before machine stitching on the gold paper. I then added a fun music paper rosette and added the flagged sentiment.

Have you seen the new range of Washi Tape in store??

Michelle sent me some pretty pink striped washi tape that I couldn't wait to use!!

I've used it here as a border to highlight the main image. It's so easy to use that I've just ripped it off the reel and it's created an interesting detail on the corners.

To make the icecream and cone I stuck the Washi tape down on white cardstock and then used a die to cut it out.

I've also used some pretty rhinestones as 'sprinkles' for the ice cream!!

Here's my second set of tags using the green and red kit.

Again, I have the 'to and from' label, and using the same paper, have created two different looking tags. One tag was covered in the paper, and the other tag used 2 circles of the paper. I like to leave the boundaries of the card, and have stuck them out over the edge. They've been finished off with some ribbon.

I received the red and green kit from Michelle, and here's my first two tags that I created from it.

I stuck the green paper down to some cardstock and cut out a Christmas tree shape, and foam mounted this up slightly. I then made a label with a stamp I had - you could easily use mini alphas or individual letter stamps. One of the tags has some star stamps on the blank area.

I created it after seeing Tim Holtz 12 tags of Christmas day 1.

I used a charm, old gold krush satin ribbon and layered 3 Green Tara petal pack flowers which are all available in store. I also used some cool beads threaded with tiger tail that Michelle sent me a little while ago... knew I would find something to use them on sooner or later!

November Inspiration ... Mermaid in Training

I loved the colours of the inspiration challenge this month! Teal is one of my all-time favourites.

Here's the layout I came up with ...

I have used some fabulous My Favourite Things Die Cuts - Ticket Tab, Bracket Tab; as well as flowers, twine, a charm (similar found here), and some beads.

Before I got involved in paper crafting, I used to dabble in beading. This month, Michelle sent me a great little collection of beads. I picked out some aqua ones to match the water in the photo, and pencilled out a flourish pattern. At various intervals I punched a hole, threaded some cotton up through the hole, popped the bead onto the needle, then threaded the needle back through the same hole. Repeat for the whole flourish and you have your own unique embellishment.

I hope you get a chance to try out the inspiration challenge this month.

A Flower Card and a Mini Tutorial

Hi Everyone!

Sandy here with a card I made for the November Inspiration Challenge

Isn't that flower cute? To make it I started off punching out a 1-3/4" circle of cardstock and then covered it in double sided tape. Take a 40cm length of Grosgrain 22mm - Yellow Gold ribbon and snip at 2cm intervals 3/4 of the way through it (do not cut all the way through). Then starting on the outside of the circle, adhere the ribbon to the circle with the snipped edge siting on the outside of the circle in a spiral shape. Once the circle is completeley covered, attach a brad to the center to cover the join.

Then VERY CAREFULLY use a heat tool to apply heat to the ribbon. You will find that the cut edges start to shrink and curl. Keep going with the heat gun until you're happy with how it looks. WARNING: the ribbon and brad will be very hot! Please let it cool for a while before picking up.

Once your flower cools, you might find that you will need to trim the circle on the back a bit because of the ribbon shrinking towards the center. Then you'll have a really cute accent to add to your cards and scrapbook layouts. How fab is that?!!

Banner fun!

How cute are banners? I just love them and the My Favorite Things Fishtail Banner Die makes them so quick and easy to whip up!!!

To make the banner I ran the Fishtail Banner Die and card stock through my cuttlebug (but you could use any brand of die cutting machine). Then I punched two little holes in each side so I could run my twine through to complete the banner - It's that quick and easy!

I popped the middle die cut up a little higher than the other two just to give some dimension to the card. Then I put a little rhinestone on each to help represent the twinkling stars.

The dienamics Open Scallop Border makes a nice addition to even up the card at the bottom.

I've used the November Inspiration picture as my colour inspiration for this card. I think the yellow and turquoise work really well for this 'outer space' card!!!

Another 2 to share with You! And a NEW PRODUCT!!

Good morning, back to share another 2 lovely Christmas tags from Michelle! Here they are:

To create this look you could use cardstock, ribbon, stickles, and a Christmas Tree stencil.

First cut a white circle using spellbinders nestabilities circles, then trace and cut a tree shape from the middle. in the back of the tree layer alternating strips of green and red (or your choice of coloured) paper and tack down each end. Flip it over when the tree gap is fully covered and attatch it to your tag. Ribbon and bow make the perfect finishing touch!

To create this look you need: ribbon, a brad, Green Tara petal pack, labels 15 from spellbinders nestabilities.

If you dont know what washi tape is, it is similar to masking tape except much MUCH prettier :) re-positionable and so many ways to use this decrotive tape! a large variety of colours and pattens available instore now! For my first card I've used the sweet Boho Anya from The Greeting Farm

And as you can see close up here I've popped on a very sweet love heart charm.

For my second card I wanted to make the paper flowers the focal point -as they are just so HUGE!!! You can buy a petal pack in store and get 100 flowers!!!!

I've used the Dienamics bracket tab along with a pretty butterfly charm.

Today I've got 2 purple tags to show you that are quite different from each other. One uses Silver and the other one gold.

I think this tag is so cute - it's a tag on a tag!!!

When I saw this gold hearted paper I knew it matched perfectly with this sentiment!!! I left this tag very simple so that the sentiment was the main focus.

My two favourite Christmas tags

Ok now I know you've been waiting to see these next two tags that I made from the Christmas tag pack.

These two are my favourites!!!!

I love this first one because you can see the natural colour of the tag and i like the subtly of the gold BUT at the same time it lets the purple pop!

I think it would also look really good with pink too, however, when it comes to pink I'm completely bias :)

Now this I love because of the medallion - they are so in right now and SUPER easy to make!
This was one of the quickest tags to make yet I think one of the most stunning.

It's really starting to look like Christmas here on The Stamp Spot blog!!!

I've got a few more inspiration tags to show you today.

I can't say I've ever strayed from the traditional colours of green, red and gold/silver when making Christmas cards or even on my tree BUT I think I'm slowly coming around to a new look.

On this tag you can see I've frayed the silver rope to give it some texture.

There is so much you can do with the pink, purple, gold and silver Christmas tag pack and I'm really loving the excuse to use pink :)

You Make Me Smile

Good morning!

I'm really into square cards at the moment as they're perfect for featuring the gorgeous MFT Dies. Here I've used the Open Scallop Doily. Michelle sent us some pretty little flowers and blingy bits to use this month so I've layered a few of the flowers and added some shimmer to them - which you can't actually see in the picture unfortunately.

The Greeting Farm Stamps - Boho Anya

Why is it that I always seem to be tidying my desk? We'll, I uncovered a coloured stamp hiding at the bottom of some papers last week ... and my daughter is off to a birthday party next weekend, so I whipped up this quick little card for her little 6 year old friend.

I've used some scraps of papers (I am constantly amazed at how far scraps can go with making cards!!), but why not try these paper pads - perfect for card makers! A little bit of ribbon and a stamp all adds to the finished product. And of course the little Anya! Of course you can make a much more extravagant card than this one, and I have one to share with you next week :)

Time for another layout

I love these photos of my daughter from a few years ago. Using multiple photos on a page is something I don't shy away from, but it takes time to work out what to do!!

Michelle sent me these numbers in my kit this month, and I've put them all (well most of them) to good use here.

This is my 'crazy faced girl'!! I have also used some great dienamics flowers and a charm from my stash, but there's lots here that you can use too. The tag under the word GIRL is labels 14 from Spellbinders.

Oh I think I've found my new favourite colour combination - Pink and Aqua!!!
It's it just divine :)

I've used the October sketch for inspiration to create this swirly card and there are still 5 days left for you to enter in your creation!

What a Cutie Pie!

I think the MFT dies are slowly becoming a favourite of mine!!

I've made this cute little card with a Perfect Bracket Edge die (the pink cardstock), the oval scalloped spellbinders, a Martha Stewart punch, and a little doll that I have had in my stash for years!! A little bit of ribbon, some bling and a rubon just finishes it off. I have used bits and pieces from my stash in this card, but there is so much to choose from in the shop.

Good morning ~

Some people have a lot of difficulty with 'white space'. I'm showing you a card today that features lots and lots of white space. Using just a couple of the My Favourite Things Dies you can create a gorgeous little swirl, layer some flowers, add a sentiment and voila a super quick and easy card that you can mass produce in no time.

Go on, give it a try. It's really not so scary going with a 'less is more' approach.

Here is a card that I think is fairly simple (well for me anyway!!!)

I wanted to keep it that way so that these cute little flowers take center stage.

I've used the Upsy Daisy die from My Favorite Things which you can buy in The Stamp Spot store here.

It's such a great die that can be used in so many ways - just look at all the bits you get!!!!

I've made this card using the October sketch for inspiration - and I say inspiration because I haven't followed the sketch exactly!!

This Pure Innocence girl 'Bunch Of Blooms' is such perfect image for this card.

I just love the big round Dainty lace doily that I've used from My Favorite Things!!

I've also used the Perfect Bracket Edge die, Nestabilities and red Pearls - you can find them all in the store.

I hope this card gives you some inspiration to enter this months challenge!

Sandy here with a card I made based on the October sketch challenge.

The white card stock has been cut using a Nestabilities Labels Fifteen that can be found in store here.
The flowers have been made using My Favorite Things Die-Namics Rolled Flower. (I LOVE this die!)
The pretty top border was cut with My Favourite Things Die-Namics Solid Bracket Border and then tied using some of the My Favorite Things Blossom Twine.

Funny things happen when cleaning up one's scrap desk ... long forgotten things come to life again!! I found this little quilled bunny and flowers that I made at least a year ago, and I thought I'd use them on a quick and simple card.

I've used the MFT Scallop Die, along with some embossed cardstock. A little bit of ink, a ribbon and a stamp, and then you have a card! I love that these dies add that little something special without a lot of effort.

Oh no!

I just wanted to share how beautiful this paper from the Prima Sparkling Spring 6x6 pad is.

Ive also used some MFT butterfly die-namics and some rhinestones and also spellbinders oval and scalloped oval nestabilites. This paper pad is so much better in person, the little picture in the store doesn't do it justice!

Upside down sketch

WOW what a great sketch we have for the whole month of October – you can check it out here or on the sidebar.

I’ve decided to use the sketch Upside down, Up side down (I’m sure my fellow Australians will remember Mr Squiggle!?!)

I must have had dies on the brain when making this card because I’ve used quite a few different ones!!!
In fact I’ve used 3 of the My Favorite Things Die-Namics dies and they are - Rolled Rose, Rolled Flower and Perfect Bracket Edge all of them can be found in the store.

See that sweet lace I’ve used? Well there is some very similar in the store and it is HALF PRICE at the moment - you’d better hurry to get the last of it at that price!!

The little girl is a MFT Pure Innocence stamp ‘Being cute is what I do’ and I must say she is doing a very good job at being cute :)

This is the gorgeous Birthday Anya II from The Greeting Farm. She's so cute - perfect for birthday cards - but I decided to pop her on a birthday layout. This is me on my birthday this year, with my son taking the pic - he's not bad at getting us in the frame! Little Anya as been coloured with Twinklink H2Os. I've made a flower and used some chipboard and buttons. I also used some paper rolling which I haved tried in ages!

And here's a card with Lula - I thought she had a good amount of attitude!!

Some gorgeous stamps from The Greeting Farm.

I received some lovely new stamps from Michelle this week and have had a load of fun colouring them in. It's been ages since I've sat and coloured, and it was great. The kids even joined in!! My colouring technique leaves a little (or a LOT!!) to be desired, so just look past my colouring to the stamps :)

The first ones I'd like to share are the Fairy Princess set from The Greeting Farm. They are so cute and I think they perfectly suit little girl's cards or layouts. Here's what I came up with.

I had to giggle when I was putting this layout together ... my husband's name is Ian too! The kids thought that was pretty funny - a stamp named after Dad!! LOL.

Here is the latest card that I've come up with using the colours pink and navy.

Using the same paper as the background I've created some cute flourishes with the My Favorite Things Die-Namics Leafy Flourish.

And as always I've used a nestie -Half moon circles that you can have ordered!!!

Hi Everyone! It's Sandy here with my very first post for The Stamp Spot!

Before I show you my card, I'd like to give a very big thank you to Michelle for asking me to join the talented Design Team. I'm looking forward to creating and learning along side these very talented ladies.

Michelle sent me a fabulous package this month full of so many beautiful things, I wasn't sure what to play with first :) I decided to make a cute little note card so I could play along with the September Inspiration Challenge.

The base is Navy Core'dinations card stock. After running it through my Big Shot with a

polka dot embossing folder, I lightly rubbed over the dots with the sander board from the Kaisercraft File Set. I have to say that I LOVE my Kaisercraft File Set! It is perfect for rubbing back paper off edges on chipboard and MDF!!

I threaded some Blossom Twine through a Die-Namics Open Scallop Doily and then threaded it through a button and tied it off in a bow. I then layered that doily on top of another one. The sentiment is from my stash.

Music Card

Another card with some of the great pack from Michelle. In this pack, the buttons have been cut out of paper. I used 4 pieces of paper for each button - so don't worry if you don't have cardstock - just cut a few pieces of paper and glue them together. It's a great way of adding extra dimension! I stitched them as I would a real button and I think they look great. You could even add some dimensional magic for a glossy coat if you wanted.
